The retail industry faces increased responsibility and scrutiny regarding its ability to protect its workforce and customers from COVID-19.

ISS ESG data reveals that some retailers have structures in place which put them in a good position to respond quickly, while others are less prepared and therefore exposed to material risks stemming from a looming inability to prevent the spread of the virus.
