New Survey Launched to Gauge Views on ESG Investing & Stewardship in a Time of Pandemic

ISS ESG, the responsible investment arm of Institutional Shareholder Services, is seeking the perspective of those within the global asset management community on the state of ESG investing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. We wish to better understand how the pandemic has affected your investment decision-making and stewardship activities, such as whether levels of engagement with portfolio companies have increased or decreased, whether you are more or less likely to pay a premium for companies with higher ESG ratings now compared with before the outbreak of COVID-19, and whether environmental, social, or governance factor are more or less important to you today. To that end, we’ve crafted a high-level survey to measure the attitudes of asset managers across the globe consisting of 25 questions that should take no more than five minutes to complete. Please note that all answers are strictly confidential and will not be shared outside of ISS ESG.

Your participation in the survey is incredibly valuable in our effort to understand and share publicly trends associated with shifts, if any, in ESG investing stemming from this unprecedented global health crisis. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact survey author and ISS ESG Associate Maura Souders via Maura.Souders@iss-esg.com

We thank you, in advance, for your time.
