(ICS), a leading provider of compensation, governance, and sustainability tools and advisory services to help companies improve shareholder value and reduce risk, today augmented its Americas Sustainability Advisory Team with new appointments.
Based in ICS’ Rockville, Md., headquarters, Kosmas Papadopoulos has been appointed as Head of Americas Sustainability Advisory and will assume responsibility for ICS’ Sustainability Consulting strategy and evolution of services and customer success. Papadopoulos most recently served as Vice President, Senior Impact Management Analyst at Calvert Research and Management, and prior to that was Senior Director, Corporate Governance & Activism, at Washington-based FTI Consulting. Earlier in his career, Papadopoulos served over a 12 year period in various senior thought-leadership and research roles at Institutional Shareholder Services, including within its ESG Analytics and Custom Research units. Papadopoulos is a CFA Charterholder, holds the SASB FSA Credential, and holds an MA with Honors in International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown University. He has authored over forty published articles and serves as Adjunct Professor at Loyola University’s Sellinger School of Business and Management. Papadopoulos will report to Marija Kramer, Head of ICS.
Reporting to Papadopoulos and based in ICS’ Toronto office, Michelle Albanese has been appointed as a Senior Sustainability Advisor. Prior to joining ICS, Albanese served in various senior sustainability roles over eight years for TD Bank Group, most recently as Head of Responsible Sourcing and Supplier Diversity. Albanese holds an MSc in Health and Environmental Sciences from the University of Waterloo, the SASB FSA Credential and the UNEP FI Certification for Climate Change and TCFD.
